We had G overnight on Halloween, all three guys had to be really gory this year. So I got to practice the stage make-up again.
They each had a story about their 'character', they were murderers who had been put to death by different means, and now were un-dead and murdering again.
I know, very gross, but at least I didn't have to sew a billion sequins!

Grama has been collecting smilie faces for a while, and she reciently moved the growing collection from behind her living room chair to the guest bedroom. Lucky guests will be able to look at all the smilies, and Furbys, too.

Fun on the Fourth

We had a wonderful fourth of July with friends. I tried to catch some actual fireworks on film, but wasn't getting the timing quite right most of the time. 
One of the best parts for me, was the gorgeous hollyhocks! I may one day ask for a start from those dark ones. (How do you take a start off hollyhocks, anyway??)
